Chris Tufnell
Vicar
Chris has been vicar since July 2020. He’s married to Rebecca and they have three boys. They both came to Sheffield for uni, fell in love with the city and have stuck around.
Chris has trusted and followed Jesus as long as he can remember and loves nothing more than to share the good news of the Christian faith with others. As a result, he really loves his job!
Michael Nicholson
Associate Vicar
Michael joined the team in August 2024. He grew up in Northern Ireland, moved to England for university and has stuck. He, Hannah and their little daughter live in Wharncliffe Side.
Anna De Castro
Minister for Children, Youth and Families
Anna joined the team in September 2020. She was raised in Sheffield and now lives in Worrall with her husband, Mendes, and their two daughters.
Ella Thompson
Church administrator
Ella joined the team in May 2022. She grew up in Cambridge, came to Sheffield for university and loves the hills too much to leave! Ella and her husband live in Oughtibridge.
Rebecca Tufnell
Church administrator (maternity cover)
Rebecca has joined the team for 2025.
She is married to Chris and spends much of her time chasing round after their three energetic boys.
Adrian Little
church warden
Adrian has lived in the village for over 40 years and is married to Caroline. They have two daughters and one granddaughter. Adrian works full time as a surveyor, valuer and property auctioneer.
Helen Kean
Church warden
Helen grew up in Worrall, lived away for 10 years and then returned home in 2004.
Since then Helen has been part of the church family here at OPC. She is married to Iain and they have two children, Sophie and Dan.
Jo Brook
Deputy Church warden
Jo grew up in Oughtibridge and lived away for six years before returning in 2004. Jo is married to Matt and they have three children, Eleanor, Sam and Evie.
Sheila Atkinson
Biblical Counselling UK INtern
Sheila has joined the team for her internship with BCUK 2025/26. She has lived in Sheffield since Uni days, and moved to OPC in 2020. She is married to Richard and has 4 grown-up children.
