Chris Tufnell

Vicar

Chris has been vicar since July 2020. He’s married to Rebecca and they have three boys. They both came to Sheffield for uni, fell in love with the city and have stuck around.

Chris has trusted and followed Jesus as long as he can remember and loves nothing more than to share the good news of the Christian faith with others. As a result, he really loves his job!

Michael Nicholson

Associate Vicar

Michael joined the team in August 2024. He grew up in Northern Ireland, moved to England for university and has stuck. He, Hannah and their little daughter live in Wharncliffe Side.

Anna De Castro

Minister for Children, Youth and Families

Anna joined the team in September 2020. She was raised in Sheffield and now lives in Worrall with her husband, Mendes, and their two daughters.

Amanda Pearson

Kids' Club Leader

Amanda joined us in 2025 to run our Kids’ Club.

Rebecca Tufnell

Rebecca has joined the team in 2025.

She is married to Chris and spends much of her time chasing round after their three energetic boys.

Adrian Little

church warden

Adrian has lived in the village for over 40 years and is married to Caroline. They have two daughters and one granddaughter. Adrian works full time as a surveyor, valuer and property auctioneer.

Jo Brook

Church warden

Jo grew up in Oughtibridge and lived away for six years before returning in 2004. Jo is married to Matt and they have three children, Eleanor, Sam and Evie.

Marie Birks

Deputy Church warden

Marie is married to Ol and has two children.

Joe Rose

Deputy Church warden

Joe grew up right here in Sheffield and now lives in the beautiful village of Oughtibridge with his wife, Laura, and their two children, Judah and Etta.

Sheila Atkinson

Biblical Counselling UK INtern

Sheila has joined the team for her internship with BCUK 2025/26. She has lived in Sheffield since Uni days, and moved to OPC in 2020. She is married to Richard and has 4 grown-up children.
