Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests.”
Luke 2:11–14
Today's Craft
Today’s craft is a paper angel.
Items needed: Sheet of white paper, circle of white card, string, glue
1. Take a piece of paper and make small folds on the long edge of the paper. You will need to fold one way and then the other as a pattern until you have folded all the paper
2. Open the paper out and make a cut down the middle of the paper for about a third of the length
3. Fold the paper back up and then fold down the two sides where the cut has been made to form the wings. Glue the wings to the body like in the video
4. Glue on a circle of card for the face and attach string to hang up as a decoration
