We believe Christmas is a time of comfort and joy for all people as we remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus. And so we would love to invite you to join us at one or more of the events and services below.
Except for our Ladies Craft Evening, there’s no need to book – just turn up! We also livestream all our services for anyone who can’t attend in–person. Visit opc.org.uk/live.
Family Advent Crafts
Sat 25 November
Drop in anytime from 10:30am-3pm to discover advent together through fun and festive crafting for all the family!
Refreshments will be provided throughout. All free. At Oughtibridge Parish Church. Feel free to come along dressed up in your festive jumpers and outfits too!
Ladies Christmas Craft Evening
Fri 1 December
Join us for a festive evening making some beautiful crafts for your home! We’ll also be hearing a five minute thought about the real meaning of Christmas. At the Chapel – doors open from 7pm.

Advent Window Trail
13–20 December
Windows around Oughtibridge and Worrall will be lit up each evening, from 4pm onwards. Each window will explore the Nativity story, scene by scene. Click here to view the trail map.

Carols by Candlelight Services
Sun 17 Dec at 5pm and 7pm
Traditional services of carols and readings, with a choir, at Oughtibridge Parish Church. Followed by mulled wine and mince pies. An informal time of singing local carols will follow the 7pm service for those who’d like to keep singing!

Nativity Service
Christmas eve at 4pm
A relaxed and interactive service for all ages at Oughtibridge Parish Church. Come along dressed up if you wish (spare costumes will be available… for children!) Followed by festive refreshments.

Carols on the Green
Christmas eve at 7pm
Join us for an hour of carol singing on Millennium Green, Oughtibridge. This event is organised by all the churches in Oughtibridge, Worrall and Wharncliffe Side.

Christmas Day Service

Join us for our all–age celebration on Christmas Day in Oughtibridge Parish Church.
